Tom Homer began his legal career in 1974 as a prosecutor. He served two terms as the Fulton County Attorney and six terms as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives. He was elected to the Illinois Appellate Court in 1996. His practice is currently concentrated in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate, civil mediation, and white collar criminal defense. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), he also advises clients with respect to wealth accumulation and wealth preservation strategies. In addition, he serves as ethics advisor to the Illinois General Assembly. He was recently recognized by the Illinois General Assembly for his integrity and ability (House Joint Resolution 142) and was featured in an article in the Naperville Sun.
